About Dr. Marisa Marciano

Naturopathic Doctor & Registered Herbalist


 

Dr. Marisa Marciano is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor & Registered Herbalist (AHG) with expertise in both the education and clinical applications of therapeutic phytotherapy. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from The University of Western Ontario she received her post-degree medical training from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine - Boucher Campus in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where she is currently Chair of the Botanical Medicine Department.

Since 2011 Dr. Marciano has been immersed in the research, application, and teaching of herbal therapeutics to audiences ranging from the general public to Physicians & other Health Care Practitioners. She has also maintained a private clinical practice focused on the custom formulation of herbal therapies using an individualized and primarily evidence-based approach that aims at integrating the safe use of herbs alongside diet, lifestyle, and conventional pharmaceutical therapies, while continually encouraging the holistic perspectives inherent to herbalism and a deep respect for the healing powers of Nature.
